2. Scope of Services

Onix Painting provides residential and commercial painting services, including but not limited to interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, priming, drywall repair, and trim painting. The specific services to be provided will be detailed in your written estimate or contract.

 

3. Estimates and Pricing

• All estimates are free and valid for 30 days from the date issued.

• Final pricing is subject to change based on actual site conditions or client-requested changes not included in the original estimate.

• Any changes must be approved in writing and may affect the timeline and cost.

 

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

• A deposit may be required to reserve your project start date.

• Clients must give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a project. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

• Onix Painting is not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

5. Payment Terms

• Payments are due as outlined in the proposal or invoice.

• Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month (18% annually).

 

6. Client Responsibilities

• Ensure access to the property during scheduled hours.

• Remove fragile items, furniture, and other valuables unless agreed otherwise.

• Notify the Company of any known hazardous materials or issues that may affect the work (e.g., lead paint, asbestos).

 

7. Warranties and Limitations

• Onix Painting offers a 1-year workmanship warranty on most painting services, covering peeling, blistering, or flaking due to improper application.

• Warranty excludes issues caused by water damage, mold, structural defects, client neglect, or natural wear and tear.

• Color matching and fading over time are not covered under warranty.

 

8. Liability

• Onix Painting carries general liability insurance.

• We are not responsible for pre-existing damages, undetected structural issues, or problems caused by third-party contractors.

• Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Onix Painting from claims arising from misuse of services or materials.

 

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate services if the Client violates these Terms, fails to pay, or creates an unsafe work environment. All work completed up to the termination date will be invoiced accordingly.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Scott County, MN.
